Whether you're a legal professional, healthcare worker, therapist, or simply value the privacy and security of your data, here are some of the most frequently asked questions:

How does TurboScribe protect my data?

All your transcripts and media files are encrypted at rest. This means that when your files are stored, they are encrypted using advanced cryptographic methods, ensuring that they remain confidential and private. Access to these files is strictly controlled and limited to you, the account holder.

Is my data private and confidential?

Yes. Your data is private and confidential. Unless you share your transcripts with others, only you can view or edit your media files or transcripts.

Is my data secure during transmission?

Yes. We strictly enforce secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL), whether transmitted to your web browser or between services we control. We refuse all unencrypted connections to our servers over the public internet.

Is my payment information secure?

We've partnered with Stripe, a leader in online payment processing, for secure transactions. Stripe's advanced encryption ensures your payment information is protected at every step. We do not retain your credit card number on our servers.

Is my data encrypted at rest?

Yes, all your transcripts and media files are encrypted at rest. We use industry-standard encryption algorithms, such as AES-256, to encrypt your data at rest. This level of encryption is trusted by experts worldwide for its robustness and has been widely adopted for securing sensitive government and financial data.

Where is my data stored?

Our primary data infrastructure is located in the United States.

Do you give any third parties access to my audio / video files?

We don't use any third-party transcription APIs or services. We run all audio/video transcription in-house on machines we own or control. This allows us to maintain the highest standards of privacy and security.

Do you train machine learning / AI models using my media files or transcripts?

No. We don't train AI or machine learning models on your media files or transcripts.

Can I export my data from TurboScribe?

Yes. You can download any media files or transcripts at any time. We also support bulk exports to make it easy to export many transcripts at the same time. If you've organized your files into folders, you can export the contents of entire folders (up to 1,000 transcripts) at a time.

Can I delete my data from TurboScribe?

Yes. You can delete any file at any time. Once a file is deleted, it can't be recovered or restored. Deleting your account will also immediately and permanently remove all your files.
